1 November 2010 had never been so welcomed! After running for 31 days straight, I am feeling proud of myself for taking on such a difficult challenge. Making running a top priority each and every day for a month is not an easy feat. There were definitely some days where I felt I deserved a break, but I didn't want to miss a day, so I pushed through. Since I'm planning to run the Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving, the Elf Classic 10K in December, and the Disney Half Marathon in January, I'm going to keep the running momentum going! I plan to run at least four 5Ks per week until my official half marathon training begins in a couple of weeks. Thank you to all who supported me in my October Challenge! I think that at the end of October I'll treat myself to something special for $93 ($3 x 31 days). For each day I don't run, I'll subtract $3 because that money will go to whomever first discovered I didn't run that day. Yes, I like this idea. = )
